AAP Minister Malvinder Kang accusses Congress to halt Anti-Drug campaign in Punjab

Kang alleged that the Punjab government is running a campaign to end drug abuse and Congress leaders are trying to halt it. For this, Congress leaders have approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

Punjab Cabinet Minister Malvinder Kang said- The Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab is running a campaign against drug smugglers. In which action is being taken against the properties built with the money from drug smuggling and bulldozers are being run on them. He said, “It is very unfortunate that while we are striving to combat drug addiction, the Congress party, which governed Punjab for many years, is attempting to undermine this campaign through the Punjab and Haryana High Court.

The minister said- the society which filed the petition belongs to a Congress leader

Further, Minister Kang said- Punjab Congress wants to stop this campaign to end drug addiction in the state through the High Court. For this, a few days ago, the Pippal Welfare Society filed a petition in the High Court against the Punjab government’s campaign to end drug addiction. The organization that filed the said petition is run by none other than a Congress leader.

The minister said- we took all the action within the ambit of the law

Minister Kang further said- I have solid proof of this. Kanwar Rajinder Singh, who runs the society, is a Congressman and his photo was with many Congress leaders including Rahul Gandhi and Captain Amarinder Singh. Also, the said person named Kanwar Rajinder Singh has also posted these photos on his websites.

Minister Malvinder Kang said- Congress is trying to stop the Punjab government’s campaign to end drug addiction. But whatever action the Punjab government has taken, it has been done within the ambit of the law. We have evidence of everything. Who had occupied government land, many people were sitting on panchayat land.
