After heavy rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh, the weather will remain clear for the next 4 days. The sun will shine across the state from today till March 8. This will bring normal life in the higher regions because due to heavy snowfall, life in the higher regions has been badly affected.
Power has been out for a week in many areas of Lahaul Spiti, Kinnaur and Kullu district. The roads are closed and water is not coming to people’s homes due to freezing of water pipes. In such a situation, the life of the people of the state will be normal if the weather remains clear.
More than 190 roads and more than 450 electricity transformers in the state have been closed for five days. When the weather clears, the work of their restoration will be expedited.
Western Disturbance (WD) is becoming active again in the state on March 9. Its effect will be seen on March 10. On this day, rain and snowfall is forecast in high and medium-altitude areas. But the weather will remain clear on the mountains till March 9.
Currently, cold has returned to the mountains due to heavy rain and snowfall in the state. The maximum temperature of the state is still 3.5 degrees below normal.
The maximum temperature of Chamba is 16.2 degrees after a drop of 9.2 degrees from normal, Dalhousie’s mercury is 6.5 degrees after a drop of 8.4 degrees, the maximum temperature of Manali is 6.8 degrees with a drop of 7.6 degrees from normal. Similarly, the temperature of other cities is also below normal. It will rise in the next three-four days.
