Himachal: Recruitment process for 2000 posts through state selection commission soon

The Chief Minister has asked to start the recruitment process for more than 2,000 posts of various departments, boards and corporations soon, which also includes those posts which were advertised by the former Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission

Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that the recruitment process for 2,000 posts will start soon through Himachal Pradesh State Selection Commission Hamirpur. While reviewing the functioning of the commission in the state secretariat, the Chief Minister also directed to declare the results of 660 posts of 6 post codes approved in the meeting soon.

The Chief Minister has asked to start the recruitment process for more than 2,000 posts of various departments, boards and corporations soon, which also includes those posts which were advertised by the former Himachal Pradesh Staff Selection Commission.

The commission has been asked to fill the newly notified posts received recently. He asked to give two years age relaxation to those candidates who were deprived of applying due to various reasons. The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to provide employment opportunities to the youth of the state in the government sector in a transparent manner and on the basis of merit.

The previous BJP government had failed to provide employment to the youth and many question papers were leaked during its tenure. He assured that the commission will provide employment opportunities to the youth by conducting transparent recruitment and computer based tests. He directed the commission to develop a one-time registration module for the application process by March 20 for the convenience of the candidates.

The government will give incentives to women and youth for cooperation in forest conservation in Himachal. The government will ensure the participation of Mahila Mandals, Yuvak Mandals, Self Help Groups and Panchayats in this work. The government has released Rs 100 crore for this scheme. Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said this while reviewing the projects of the Forest Department.

The CM said that after plantation, incentives will be provided after five years on the basis of the survival percentage of the plants. He directed to plant 60 percent fruit and fodder species in the forest area, so that the farmers’ crops can be saved from wild animals. The Chief Minister directed the department to involve entrepreneurs to increase the forest area.
