Exploitation allegations by Sunanda Sharma: Music producer Pinky Dhaliwal gets bail from HC

The High Court has issued these orders on the petition of the producer's son, in which the arrest by the Mohali police was termed illegal.

Punjabi music producer Pushpinder Singh alias Pinky Dhaliwal, arrested in the Sunanda Sharma case, has got a big relief. The Punjab-Haryana High Court has issued orders for the immediate release of Pinky Dhaliwal in the case. The High Court has issued these orders on the petition of the producer’s son, in which the arrest by the Mohali police was termed illegal.

Giving information, lawyer Harlav Singh Rajput on behalf of Pinky Dhaliwal said that the police had arrested Dhaliwal on Saturday on the complaint of Punjabi actress and singer Sunanda Sharma, on which Dhaliwal’s son had filed a petition in the High Court against this arrest.

Earlier, Dhaliwal was produced in the court by the police after the expiry of his two-day remand. Before the appearance, the CIA police had also taken Pinky Dhaliwal to her house in Sector-71, Mohali for investigation. Meanwhile, DSP Tarvinder Singh along with the police party also seized some documents from Dhaliwal’s house, which are being investigated.

What was Sunanda Sharma’s complaint?

It is worth mentioning that Sunanda Sharma had accused Pinky Dhaliwal of illegal, exploitative and abusive behavior in her complaint to the police. She said that this has caused her huge financial loss, mental anguish and damage to her reputation. Sunanda Sharma had said in her complaint that Dhaliwal had exploited her financially of more than Rs 250 crore for years.
