Haryana Government to soon recruits Assistant Professors

The Haryana government is going to recruit 2424 vacant posts of assistant professors in colleges.

Chandigarh: The Haryana government is going to recruit 2424 vacant posts of assistant professors in colleges. Regarding this, the government has sent a demand to the Haryana Public Service Commission to fill the posts of assistant professors in various subjects of College Cadre Group V.

The vacant posts will be filled immediately after receiving the recommendation from HPSC. This information was given by Higher Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda in response to a question asked by MLA Rajbir Fartia during the Question Hour during the Haryana Assembly Budget Session.

Qualification has been set by HPSC for the youth applying for the recruitment of Assistant Professors. It is mandatory for the youth to have a master’s degree with 55% marks from any university. There should also be a good academic record with an equivalent degree from a recognized university. All candidates should have good knowledge of Hindi and Sanskrit at the matriculation level or higher education.

Salary will be up to 1.82 lakh

The age limit for recruitment to these posts has been set by HPSC. The minimum age should be 21 years and maximum 42 years. Age limit relaxation will be given to reserved categories. The salary for these posts will range from Rs 57,700 to Rs 182,400. For the selection process, first a screening test, subject knowledge test and interview will be conducted.
