Fire breaks out in truck in Rohtak; Driver trapped in cabin burnt alive

A fire suddenly broke out in the cabin of an Eicher truck at midnight in Meham, Rohtak. The driver of the truck was inside, he could not get out and died of burning alive. During this, a crowd of people gathered at the spot. The fire brigade and police were called. Photo-video of the accident has surfaced, in which the driver is seen trapped in flames in the cabin. He has been identified as Kuldeep of Ludhiana.

According to the information, the incident took place near Jai Jawan Family Dhaba located on the way to Bahalba village of Meham. According to the owner of the Dhaba, the truck stopped there at around 1 pm on Thursday. Along with driver Kuldeep, there was also a person named Pinta in the truck. The Dhaba owner asked to remove the truck, but the driver refused.

At around 1 o’clock in the night, flames started coming out of the cabin of the truck. When the fire broke out, people gathered around. An attempt was made to extinguish the fire with water by running the hotel’s submersible pump. Police was informed, who called the fire brigade. The fire was controlled by the people before the fire brigade arrived.

After the fire was extinguished, driver Kuldeep was taken out of the truck and taken to the general hospital of Meham. The doctors declared him dead. The deceased was identified as Kuldeep Singh, a resident of Ludhiana, from his Aadhar card. The police have sent the body to the PGI mortuary in Rohtak for postmortem. The police is investigating the accident. The reason for the fire in the truck has not been revealed yet.
