The government will take strong action against ten employees who are involved in drug abuse. 75 percent of the jails are filled with drug smugglers. The Chief Minister said that the previous BJP government gave 50 percent subsidy to women for travelling in Transport Corporation buses in the election year to gain political advantage. He said that the salary is Rs. 1.5 lakh, there is no problem in paying the fare. He said that the government has to spend Rs. 730 crore annually on this. The previous BJP government also took money from temples for budget schemes, while our government has not done anything like this. The Chief Minister said that in the year 2022-23, the state’s loan limit was Rs 16,352 crore, which has been reduced to Rs 12,176 crore by the central government last year. Not only this, the state used to get compensation of Rs 3,993 crore when VAT was implemented. Then after the implementation of GST, the state kept getting Rs 3,200 crore as compensation till 2022, which has now completely stopped. He said that in the year 2027, the railway will reach Bilaspur. He will also meet the Union Minister.
Chief Minister Sukhwinder Singh Sukhu said that now the government will fight a war, not a battle in three years. BJP is running a campaign through social media to tarnish his image. He warned the people of social media that now the law has changed and the accountability of the person running such a campaign on social media will be fixed for presenting wrong facts.
