Chandigarh: BJP National General Secretary, Tarun Chugh, has strongly condemned the grenade attack by two youths on a motorcycle on the Thakurdwara temple located in the Khandwala area of Amritsar and has demanded an investigation into the case by central agencies.
BJP also said- This is a warning of deteriorating law and order situation in the state. Instead of providing security to the people of the state, the AAP government is busy welcoming Arvind Kejriwal. We will request the CBI to investigate the entire matter.
Chugh said- CM Mann should free the hands of Punjab police
BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh said- The grenade attack on the temple on the holy festival of Holi is reprehensible. The conspiracy of the attack is cowardly. This incident should be seen as a warning. The entire force of Punjab is engaged in the security of Kejriwal. On the other hand, the temple was attacked with a grenade.
It has become clear from this incident that efforts are being made to spoil the atmosphere of Punjab. Foreign hands and the sleeping government of Punjab are responsible for this. BJP National General Secretary Tarun Chugh further said- I request CM Bhagwant Mann sahab to get this incident investigated by central agencies.
Also, the hands of the brave police of Punjab should also be freed. Because the Aam Aadmi Party has tied the hands of the Punjab Police. Such incidents are happening every day.
Grenade attack happened on the night of Holi
On the night of Holi, two bike-borne youths attacked Thakurdwara temple in Khandwala area of Amritsar with a grenade. The entire incident was captured on CCTV installed at the spot. On this, Amritsar Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar said that Pakistani intelligence agency ISI is behind such attacks. Now various teams of Punjab Police are investigating the matter.
