Last night at around 10:30 pm, around 12 people surrounded a Swift car on Ferozepur Road in Ludhiana, Punjab. The miscreants attacked the milk trader and his assistant sitting in the car with sharp weapons. The robbers stole their gold chain and mobile.
The injured were admitted to the Civil Hospital, where they were identified as Preetpal Singh (42) resident of Sidhwan Bet and Bunty (24) resident of village Nihal Singh Wala.
Preetpal Singh said that he is a milk trader and was sitting in his Swift car on Ferozepur Road in front of Verka Milk Plant with his friend Sukhwinder Singh and assistant Bunty late at night. Then, around 10 to 12 people started vandalizing his car. He said that when he tried to protest, the attackers attacked him with sharp weapons and also attacked and injured his assistant, Bunty.
The attackers also looted his gold chain and mobile while leaving.
The victim said that the attackers took away his gold chain and his friend Sukhwinder’s mobile while leaving. Preetpal alleged that the main attacker is a resident of Dakha village and was demanding money from him forcibly.
He says that when he refused to give money, the attackers started having a grudge against him. Late night, they attacked him and his friends in front of the Ferozepur Road Milk Plant and injured them. Injured Preetpal has stitches on his head. According to Preetpal, he will also complain to the police regarding this matter.
