Bride runs away 6 days after marriage in Panipat; case registered against 6 people

Police have registered a case against 6 people on the basis of the complaint.

A young man from Panipat city was duped in the name of marriage. The young man got married, but the bride ran away just 6 days after the wedding. She went to her maternal home with her alleged brother. Even after many efforts, when the bride’s side and the middleman could not be contacted, the groom complained about the matter to the police. Police have registered a case against 6 people on the basis of the complaint.

A girl was shown in Kurukshetra, Rs 1.11 lakh was demanded

In a complaint given to Sector 13-17 police station, Sunil Kumar said that he is a resident of Housing Board, Sector 6. He and his brother Pankaj met Pappu Chauhan, resident of Bhaula Chowk. Who told him on February 4 that he can get Sunil married. Both the brothers agreed to the marriage by trusting him.

He showed them photos of 2-3 girls in his mobile on the spot and took them into confidence. They liked one of the girls. On 5 February, Pappu, his two friends, Sunil and Bhabh,i went to Kurukshetra to show the girl. After showing the girl, all the talks for the marriage took place. In return for getting the marriage done, Pappu demanded 1 lakh 11 thousand rupees from them so that whatever expenses the girl’s side has to bear can be met, because the girl’s side is poor.

The marriage took place on 8th, the bride left on 14th February

On 8 February, their marriage took place in the Radhe Shyam temple of Panipat. On 9 February, the boy’s side also organized a reception in Gokul Garden. In which about 250 people participated. After coming home, the brother of the bride came home to pick her up at 5 pm on 14 February. He took her away. After this, she neither returned nor could she and her family members contact her. The family members understood that they had been cheated in the name of marriage.
