A canter met with an accident in Jalandhar. The speeding canter came to the other side from its lane and then hung below the flyover. The Road Safety Force team, which reached the spot immediately after the accident, took control of the situation. The canter driver was somehow taken out of the cabin. The cabin of the canter was hanging below the flyover. It is alleged that the canter driver was drunk.
According to the information received, this accident happened near Lumma Pind Chowk of the city. The canter coming from PAP Chowk went out of control and collided with the railing of the highway. After hitting the railing, it came to the other side and hung below the flyover. The police saved the canter driver by a narrow margin.
This accident happened on Tuesday late evening. After the accident, there was a long jam on the flyover. Immediately after receiving the information, the Road Safety Force teams reached the spot. With the help of 2 cranes, the trolley was removed from the highway, and the jam was cleared.
According to the employees of the Road Safety Force, they had received information from the control room that an accident had taken place on the flyover. After reaching the spot and investigating, they found out that the truck driver was going from Ludhiana to Amritsar. He met with an accident on the way. The truck driver was drunk, due to which this accident happened. Due to the accident, there was a jam on Jalandhar Delhi National Highway for 1 hour.
