Man arrested for writing Khalistan slogans on Himachal busses 

Amritsar: Police in Amritsar on Sunday claimed to have arrested a person in the case of writing Khalistan slogans on Himachal Roadways buses.  Official sources said that the accused has been identified as Jaspreet Singh alias Jassa, a resident of village Manochahal Kalan in Tarn Taran district. Official sources said that the accused has been identified as Jaspreet Singh alias Jassa, a resident of village Manochahal Kalan in Tarn Taran district.

On the instructions of Police Commissioner Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, the A Division police station took this action. The case was registered on the complaint of Himachal Roadways employee Suresh Kumar. In the complaint, it was stated that the accused broke the windows of Himachal buses parked at the bus stand and wrote pro-Khalistan slogans on them.

The police arrested the accused on April 5. He was produced in court, from where he was sent to two days of police custody. The police is interrogating the accused. The case has been registered under Section 3 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act 1984 and Sections 196, 353.
