Hisar: A major accident took place near Dhandur bridge in Haryana’s Hisar district on Monday morning. 13 people were injured in a collision between a car and an auto. All the injured have been admitted to the civil hospital in Hisar. The hospital staff has informed the police.
According to the information, the injured include Maya alias Meva and her sister Sumitra, residents of Jhunjhunu, who were travelling in the car. The people travelling in the auto were Saroj, Asha, Gurpreet, Rakesh, 3-month-old Anmol, Mehfil, Kelo Devi and Simran from Pipalthala near Khanauri border. Apart from this, Rajkumar of Nachar Kheda, Aman of Doomarkhan and Aman of Phule have also been injured.
CMO reached the spot after receiving the information
As soon as the information of the incident was received, the CMO of the Civil Hospital reached the spot. Due to the large number of injured, the management in the hospital was affected. Doctors had to treat the injured even outside the emergency room. Injured Kela Devi told that she had gone in an auto with her family to Amarpura in Rajasthan for a pilgrimage. They were returning at 8 am on Monday.
The family was going to Jhunjhunu
When the auto was turning to the other side of the road near Dhandur bridge, it collided with a car. Treatment of all the injured is going on in the civil hospital. Sumitra, who was injured in the car, said that she and her sister Maya, brother-in-law Vinod and son Gautam were going from Jalandhar to their home in Jhunjhunu. When they reached near Dhandur bridge, an auto came from the wrong side. Due to which a head-on collision took place.
