After the rain, the people of the state can also get relief from the heat, because hot winds are being felt in Mandi and Kullu districts for the last two days.
According to the Meteorological Department, today it may rain at some places in Chamba, Kangra, Mandi, Kullu and Lahaul Spiti districts. Yellow alert has also been issued for storm and lightning in these districts. The weather will be clear in other districts today.
Western disturbance will be more active from tomorrow. Due to this, it may rain in 8 districts. On April 11, the weather will be bad in the entire state. On this day, it may rain in most parts of the state. On April 12, the Western Disturbance will weaken and there is a possibility of rain on this day only in the higher areas.
Temperature rises before rain
At present, a huge rise in temperature has been recorded before the rain. The temperature of many cities has risen 7 to 8 degrees above normal. Kalpa’s temperature has risen by the highest 7.2 degrees above normal and reached 22.6 degrees Celsius.
Keylong’s temperature has risen 7.0 degrees above normal to 18.0 degrees, Bhuntar’s temperature has risen 6.7 degrees to 32.6 degrees, Shimla’s temperature has risen 5.5 degrees above normal to 25.4 degrees Celsius. The temperature of other cities of the state has also risen.
