AAP Leader Swati Maliwal to take oath as Rajya Sabha MP Today

New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party leader and Former DCW Chief Swati Maliwal is all set to take oath as Rajya Sabha MP today. Today before taking oath, she offered prayers and sought blessings here at Hanuman Temple at Connaught Place in Delhi.

Ahead of the start of the interim Budget session, AAP’s Swati Maliwal who is set to take oath as Rajya Sabha MP said, “This Budget should be such that it benefits the women, the farmers, the poor, the youth and also the middle class.”

Swati Maliwal has become first woman from AAP to be elected as Rajya Sabha MP. Apart from her, Sanjay Singh and ND Gupta were reelected as Rajya Sabha MPs.
