AAP Protest in Amritsar Over MPs Joining BJP

Amritsar: Today, the Aam Aadmi Party will stage protests across various assembly constituencies within the city of Amritsar. These demonstrations will be led by the party’s Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs). The primary objective of this protest is to raise the public’s voice against the potential defections of Rajya Sabha members Raghav Chadha and others to the BJP. The MLAs have asserted that these parliamentarians have betrayed the trust reposed in them by the public.

According to the scheduled itinerary, people will begin gathering at Putlighar Chowk in Amritsar West at 2:00 PM. Concurrently, party workers and local residents will also assemble in Amritsar South, near Hundal Dairy in the Sultanwind area. Subsequently, a protest demonstration will be held at Hall Gate in Amritsar Central at 3:00 PM.

A Peaceful Public Protest and Message of Awareness

In the evening, an event is scheduled for 4:00 PM at Ganda Singh Chowk on Majitha Road in Amritsar North; simultaneously, a demonstration will be organized at 4:00 PM on the 100-Feet Road in Amritsar East, situated opposite Gurnam Pithi Wale and Jaswal Furniture. Throughout these events, party workers, local citizens, and supporters will register their dissent peacefully while conveying a resolute message regarding the protection of Punjab’s interests.
