AAP launches Trade wing in Punjab, appoints Anil Thakur as state President

Chandigarh: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in Punjab has formally announced the formation of its Trade Wing as part of its organisational restructuring ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. Senior party leader Anil Thakur has been appointed State President of the Trade Wing, while Dr. Anil Bhardwaj has been named State General Secretary. Additionally, 10 State Secretaries and district-level trade wing presidents have also been appointed.

The announcement marks a significant step in AAP’s strategy to expand its outreach to the business and trading community across Punjab. The move comes as part of a broader effort to consolidate the party’s grassroots presence and mobilize support in key voter segments.
