AAP’s Atishi claims ‘BJP trying to topple Govt’; BJP replies ‘stop spreading lies’

New Delhi: In a press conference today, Delhi minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Atishi said that in bid to topple Delhi Government, the BJP-led central government could be imposing a President’s Rule in the national capital in the next few days. The AAP leader claimed that BJP is afraid of Kejriwal’s public welfare schemes and BJP will do anything to go against AAP government.

Atishi claimed that Arvind Kejriwal has been arrested in fake case and there is no proof against him. She alleged that all this is being done to topple Delhi Government and bring presidential rule.

Making another big claim, Atishi said that officers have stopped attending meetings and no officers are being posted in Delhi. Targeting LG, she said from past week, LG has been writing letters to MHA whereas CM’s personal secretary has also been removed.

She said, “Let me warn the BJP that imposing President’s rule in Delhi will be illegal, unconstitutional and against the mandate of the people of Delhi. The people of Delhi have given a clear mandate to Arvind Kejriwal and Aam Aadmi Party.”

On the accusations made by Atishi, BJP responded and slammed AAP for spreading lies. BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa said, “I want to tell Atishi Marlena ji that BJP does not want to impose President’s rule in Delhi. We want the elected government to work but Kejriwal ji’s attachment to power is so much that he either wants to make his wife Sunita Kejriwal the Chief Minister or wants to impose President’s rule. He does not want any other leader of “AAP” party to become the Chief Minister.”
