CJP’s Abhijeet Dipke Vows to Continue Anti-SIR Fight, Targets PM Modi and CEC Gyanesh Kumar at Kochi Protest

Kochi: The Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke said on Saturday that his party will continue to fight against SIR or Special Intensive Revision of electoral rolls unless an impartial election system is set up.

Dipke said during the ‘Jantar Mantar at Kochi’ protest against the SIR exercise that the Centre had made a very cowardly attempt to address the agitation.

“We will continue our agitation against the CEC (Chief Election Commissioner), Gyanesh Kumar. We cannot trust elections held under him. The whole process is being tampered with to favour a particular political party,” Dipke told reporters at Kochi airport earlier.

“There are deletions happening in the country. There is not a single state which has been left out.”

    Abhijeet Dipke questions election system

Dipke said that the appointment of former Chief Electoral Officer of Kerala as secretary to the Chief Minister cast doubts on the impartiality of the election system.

Hundreds of activists, human rights activists and people from various walks of life participated in the protest. Actor Prakash Raj too took part in the protest.

Dipke takes jabs at PM Modi, makes comments about Trump and 2029 election

Dipke attacked Prime Minister Narendra Modi by saying he would never be able to stand with Jawaharlal Nehru and Mahatma Gandhi and will never be bigger than Nehru regardless of how long he stays in power.

He alleged that Modi had “submitted” to US President Donald Trump and sold India. However, he questioned the claims by the government that the CJP had received foreign contributions by saying, “Yet they say we have received foreign contributions.”

“I went to jail for raising the national flag and I will raise the Tricolour wherever I go in the country,” he added.

Dipke said that Prime Minister Modi would lose power in 2029.

“The agitation against US will not call US ‘anarchists’. We are Ambedkarites.”

Dipke also alleged that he has addressed more than 50 press conferences in the past three months while PM Modi has not addressed media even once.

These are claims by Abhijeet Dipke.
