New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) founder Abhijeet Dipke has said that he has been diagnosed with typhoid but asserted that the ongoing protest demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan will continue.

Dipke shared a health update through a video message, thanking supporters participating in protests across the country and stating that his illness would not affect the movement.

Dipke says health condition will not stop protest

In his message, Dipke said he was undergoing treatment after being diagnosed with typhoid. Despite his health condition, he maintained that the protest would continue until the group’s demand for Pradhan’s resignation was fulfilled.

He also thanked supporters for holding demonstrations peacefully and encouraged them to continue raising their concerns.

CJP continues agitation over exam-related issues

The protest led by CJP has been focused on alleged irregularities in competitive examinations and demands for accountability from the government. The organisation has maintained that its agitation will continue despite recent developments, including the end of activist Sonam Wangchuk’s hunger strike.

Talks with government remain unresolved

Earlier, CJP representatives held discussions with government leaders over their demands, but the organisation said it would continue the protest until its key demand regarding Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation is addressed.

Dipke’s latest health update comes as demonstrations continue in parts of the country over examination-related concerns.
