Returning from Birthday Party, two friends killed in road accident, one injured

Two friends died on the spot and one was seriously injured in a road accident in Jalandhar. The accident took place when three friends Vansh, Sunil (whose birthday it was) and Chetan were returning from a party.

All three were riding on the same scooter. As soon as they reached Ladowali Road, the scooter collided with an electric pole at high speed. The collision was so severe that all three fell on the road.

Passers-by immediately informed the police, but by then Vansh and Sunil had died. Chetan has been admitted to the hospital in critical condition.

None of the three was wearing a helmet

According to eyewitnesses, none of the youths was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The postmortem report states the cause of death as a serious head injury. If helmets had been worn, both could have been saved. The accident took away the happiness of the families.

Vansh was a student of class 11 and his birthday was to come after two days. Sunil was the main support of his family. Now both families are in deep mourning. Meanwhile, the injured Chetan is battling for life and death in the hospital.

Police did not take any action

The police had started investigating the accident. People have been asked to follow traffic rules and drive two-wheelers only after wearing helmets.
