Sangrur : In Dirba, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Cheema’s assembly constituency, four individuals lost their lives on Wednesday as a result of drinking counterfeit alcohol.
In the meantime, two victims of the poisoned liquor are admitted to the government hospital. The victims are reportedly not in a condition to provide a comment, but their families believed that the occurrence occurred as a result of consuming hazardous alcohol.
Sources verified that the four deceased, who belonged to a Dalit family, were named as Bhola Singh (50), Nirmal Singh (42), Preet Singh (42), and Jagjit Singh (30).
Nevertheless, the bodies were transported to the hospital for a post-mortem as soon as the officers from the Dirba police station arrived at the scene shortly after the tragedy. It was also confirmed by the police team that the case is active.
