The landslide buried a bus terminal for employees of a gold mining firm and 55 nearby houses on Tuesday night, leaving 35 people dead and 32 others injured.
Due to the negligence of the toll plaza on the Barnala-Moga National Highway, a painful accident occured in which one youth has died, while the other is seriously injured. The victim’s family members told that 21-year-old Amritpal Singh, son of Gurjant Singh and his friend Jagseer Singh were returning from Nihal Singh Wala towards Barnala.
