Ludhiana: Saturday early morning On National Highway in Khanna a Innova car has been hit with Truck. In this accident Innova car driver has died on the spot. The deceased was identified as Randhir Singh, a resident of Goraya District Jalandhar. After Accident The truck driver fled from the spot.
According to sources Randhir Singh was a taxi driver. He was returning back to Goraya after leaving the passenger in Delhi. The collision was so severe that the entire front part of the Innova was badly damaged.
SSF reached the spot within 5 minutes
After receiving information about the accident Road Safety Force (SSF) reached on the spot within 5 minutes. Sub Inspector Sukhdev Singh along with his team immediately rushed the injured Randhir Singh to the nearby Khanna Nursing Home. But the doctors declared him dead.
Khanna City Police Station 2 was informed about the accident by SSF. Also, Randhir Singh’s family was informed. Police started investigating the accident. CCTVs are being watched to trace the accused driver.
