Ludhiana: Last night around 10 pm, a high-speed Honda City car fell off the fly bridge near Shri Ram School, close to the Southern Bypass under the jurisdiction of the PAU police station.
Four youths who were traveling in the car sustained injuries and have been admitted to DMC Hospital for treatment. The condition of two of the injured youths is critical. The PAU police station is currently investigating the matter and as of late last night, the injured individuals had not been identified.
When the car from Jalandhar reached the Southern Flyover in Ludhiana, it suddenly went out of control at high speed. The car first overturned on the flyover and then fell down. Upon overturning, the car’s airbags deployed. The Honda City car was badly damaged.
The occupants of the car, who were young, managed to escape and stopped passersby by shouting for help. The passersby immediately informed the police and the four injured individuals were taken to Dayanand Medical College. Two of the youths remain in critical condition.
