Actress Mahhi Vij Hospitalised Due to Severe Viral Infection, Requests Fans’ Prayers

Mumbai: Television actress Mahhi Vij, on Friday, shared a video from the hospital revealing that she has been suffering from a severe viral infection. The actress said she had been experiencing high fever and shivers for several days, but all tests for dengue, malaria, and typhoid had returned negative.

“I had fever and shivers again this morning. Dengue, malaria, typhoid — all negative. It’s viral, a severe viral. I’m most saddened that I’m not able to go for the shoot. It’s my dream project,” Mahhi said in her video posted on Instagram.

Mahhi expressed her disappointment over missing the shoot of what she described as her “dream project,” a role she has invested her heart and energy into.
“I’ve put all my life into it. Just keep me in your prayers. Pray for me to get well soon and go for the shoot,” she said, adding that she was trying to recover quickly by eating fruits and resting.

The actress also thanked her friends and fans for their support and understanding. “I don’t have the energy to talk on the phone. Please understand. Thank you for everything. I love you all,” she added.

Admitted to Mumbai Hospital for Treatment

Mahhi was admitted to a Mumbai hospital after suffering from high fever and severe weakness. Her team had earlier shared on social media that doctors were conducting tests to determine the cause of her illness.

She captioned her latest post simply: “Keep me in your prayers.”
