    Adani Group Announces $10 Billion Investment Plan in Vietnam

    New Delhi: Adani Group Chairman Gautam Adani has unveiled a strategic investment plan of up to $10 billion in Vietnam, according to Vietnam’s Tuoi Tre News. During a recent meeting in Hanoi with Vietnamese Party General Secretary To Lam, Adani praised Vietnam’s national development strategy and rapid socio-economic progress, expressing admiration for its long-term vision.

    Focus on Infrastructure, Energy, and Emerging Technologies
    Adani emphasized the group’s expertise in infrastructure sectors including ports, airports, transport, logistics, energy, and digital technologies. He noted that Adani is India’s largest energy provider and operates major assets like the Mundra Port. In Vietnam, the group plans to align its investments with national priorities, focusing on strategic infrastructure, renewable energy, and technologies such as artificial intelligence.

    Vietnam Encourages Deeper Economic Cooperation
    General Secretary To Lam welcomed the Adani Group’s commitment and lauded its contributions to India’s economy. He encouraged the company to coordinate with Vietnamese ministries and local authorities to advance project implementation. Highlighting Vietnam’s focus on scientific innovation, digital transformation, and private sector growth, he assured that the government will offer favorable conditions to foreign investors like Adani Group.

    The meeting reflects the growing economic cooperation between India and Vietnam, particularly under their Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established in 2016.
