After NEET, UGC fiasco NTA postpones CSIR UGC NET examination

New Delhi: NTA postponed the CSIR UGC NET exam on Friday at 8.30 pm. This exam was to be held between 25-27 June. The reason for postponing the exam is said to be lack of resources.

NTA in a press note quoted some unavoidable circumstances along with logistic issues reason behind the postponement of examination.

NTA said that the new time table of this exam will be uploaded soon on the official website csirnet.nta.ac.in.

Two days ago on June 19, NTA canceled the UGC NET exam after the possibility of irregularities.

Supreme Court refused to stop NEET counseling for the second time

Earlier, the Supreme Court heard the NEET exam controversy during the day. A student had filed a petition in the Supreme Court.

The student said that 773 candidates have failed without getting grace marks. The entire exam should be canceled and conducted again. The case is to be heard on July 8, so the counseling starting from July 6 should also be extended by 2 days.

On this, the Supreme Court refused to stop the counseling. However, NTA has been asked to file a reply within 2 weeks on the demand for re-examination. In the hearing on June 20, the Supreme Court had also refused to stop the counseling.
