SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav on personal visit to Himachal, visit Ashram in Mariog

Amid the ongoing Shankaracharya controversy in Uttar Pradesh, Samajwadi Party chief and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav arrived at The Story Hotel in Kaba, Kasauli Assembly constituency, on Monday afternoon with his family under tight security.

He was accompanied by 21 security personnel in a dozen vehicles with Punjab registration plates. Upon arrival at the Kaba hotel, security was tightened all around. It should be noted that Akhilesh Yadav is on a personal visit to Himachal Pradesh.

Sources indicate that he will visit an ashram in Mariog, Sirmaur district, on Tuesday to meet the ashram’s head priest. He will arrive there on Tuesday morning and will return to Uttar Pradesh by the afternoon.

Former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav arrived at the Badrika Ashram in Mariog, Sirmaur, around 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. His wife, Dimple Yadav, and daughter have been at the ashram for a week. This visit by Akhilesh Yadav is purely personal.

Only security has been requested from the Himachal Pradesh Police. The Himachal Police have provided security to Akhilesh Yadav as the former Chief Minister. DSP Rajgarh VC Negi is personally present at the ashram to ensure the former Chief Minister’s security.

It is noteworthy that the Shankaracharya controversy is currently ongoing in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh Police have registered an FIR against Jyotirmath Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati and his disciple Swami Mukundanand Brahmachari, along with two or three unidentified individuals, on charges of child sexual abuse.

Akhilesh Yadav targets Ashutosh Brahmachari

Last Sunday, Akhilesh Yadav targeted Ashutosh Brahmachari, the Shakumbhari Peethadheeshwara, who filed a case against Swami Avimukteshwarananda. He said that the government has unearthed a 20-year-old incident. The purpose is to humiliate Swami Avimukteshwarananda.

“If the complainant is a disciple of Swami Rambhadracharya, then I made a mistake. I withdrew the case against Rambhadracharya. I should have sent him to jail.” Following this, politics in Uttar Pradesh has become quite heated.
