Akriti wrote in her post that when she decided to break off her engagement, she allowed the opinions of those close to her, who believed they understood the relationship better than her, to influence her relationship.

She admitted that she was misled and made the decision without allowing them the opportunity for the honest conversation their relationship needed.

Akriti further wrote that she takes responsibility for her decision and the pain it caused. However, they have now had a frank conversation, understood each other, and decided to live together again.

In her post, she said, “We are enough for each other and we don’t need anyone else.”

Prithvi Shaw announced their engagement on March 8th. However, news of their separation surfaced a few weeks later. Now, Aakriti’s statement has confirmed their reconciliation.
