Akshay Kumar wraps up ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, calls it his biggest project

Mumbai: Actor Akshay Kumar has announced the completion of shooting for his upcoming film ‘Welcome to the Jungle’, calling it one of the biggest projects of his career. Posting on social media, he expressed gratitude to the entire team and cast and extended Christmas wishes.

‘Never Been Part of Such a Big Project’

Akshay Kumar shared a video with the entire star cast of the film and wrote,
“Merry Christmas to everyone from the massive cast of ‘Welcome to the Jungle’! This film will be in cinemas in 2026. I have never been a part of such a big project… none of us have.”

He further added,
We are eagerly waiting to present this gift to you. The shooting of the film is complete. The entire team has worked incredibly hard. Best wishes to all of you for 2026 from our big film family.

The video features several stars including Sunil Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, and Tusshar Kapoor.

Tusshar Kapoor Also Confirms Completion of Shooting

Tusshar Kapoor also shared a picture from the film’s set on Instagram and wrote,
“The last schedule of welcometothejungle for the year is complete. Thank you to the entire team, we are missing all of you in this picture.”

Film to Release in 2026

‘Welcome to the Jungle’ is presented by Base Industries Group and produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala. Directed by Ahmed Khan, this comedy film will carry forward the legacy of the ‘Welcome’  franchise and is scheduled for release in mid-2026.
