Alia Bhatt Shares Heartwarming Glimpses of Her Diwali Celebration with Family

Mumbai: Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt, who is set to headline the upcoming spy-action film ‘Jigra’, treated fans to delightful moments from her Diwali celebrations with family and friends.

Festive Family Moments

On Tuesday, Alia took to Instagram to share a series of pictures featuring her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, their daughter Raha Kapoor, and close family members.

Dressed in elegant pastel shades of pink and green, the actress exuded festive charm. One of the pictures captured a tender moment of Raha painting with watercolours — a sight that melted hearts online.

Alia captioned the post,

“Dilwaali Diwali. Happy Diwali to you and yours.”

Dhanteras Celebrations with the Kapoors

Earlier, the actress celebrated Dhanteras with her mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and other members of the Kapoor family.

Neetu shared a glimpse of the festivities on her Instagram Stories, showcasing Alia in a shimmery golden saree paired with a matching blouse. The ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ star completed her look with a choker necklace and mangteeka, keeping her hair open in a neat middle parting and makeup in golden tones.

The picture also featured Kapoor sisters Kareena and Karisma Kapoor, both dressed in traditional attire, along with other members of the Kapoor clan.

Recent Recognition for ‘Jigra’

Prior to the festive season, Alia won the Filmfare Award for Best Actress for her performance in ‘Jigra’. Although she couldn’t attend the ceremony, she shared a heartfelt note on Instagram expressing her gratitude.

“This one will always stay closest to my heart… not just for the story we told, but for the incredible people who gave it life,” she wrote.

Why Alia Missed the Ceremony

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan later revealed the reason for her absence from the awards night, sharing that,

“Alia couldn’t be here because she is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s movie.”
