Ex IG Amar Singh Chahal Case: Five arrested by Patiala Police, three dozen phones with 500 sim cards recovered

Patiala Police has achieved great success in the case related to former IG of Patiala Amar Singh Chahal. Five people, including a BJP leader, have been arrested in this case. According to the information received, the police have arrested five people, including BJP leader Sumit from Maharashtra, in the Amar Singh Chahal case.

Three dozen mobile phones and 500 SIM cards have been recovered from the arrested accused. According to the police, these SIM cards were taken on fake documents and the entire network was being run through them.

The arrested people include Chandrakant Laxman, Shrikant Ranjit Nandekar and Mohammad Hassan. Apart from this, another accomplice has also been arrested, whose interrogation is ongoing. According to the information received, one of the arrested persons is being said to be the Mandal Adhyaksha of BJP, although the police are not sharing more information about this.

According to the police, more arrests may be made in this case in the coming days. Also, the police are now trying to find out which other states this gang is connected to and how many people are involved in this fraud.
