Rs 3,000 to Women, UCC implementation in six months: Amit Shah releases BJP’s Sankalp Patra for West Bengal

The Bharatiya Janata Party today released its manifesto for West Bengal. The party has named it as Sankalp Patra. Speaking at an event held in Kolkata, Union Home Minister Amit Shah stated that for the people of Bengal, the last 15 years have been akin to a nightmare, a night of terror.

He announced that if their government is formed, the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) will be implemented in Bengal within the first six months. Additionally, women in the state will receive a monthly allowance of ₹3,000. Cattle smuggling in Bengal will be brought to a halt.

Apart from that, Unemployed youth will be provided with financial assistance of ₹3,000 per month. Furthermore, government employees will be granted the benefits of the 7th Pay Commission within 45 days.

He stated that this manifesto has been prepared with the aspirations of every section of the state in mind and will pave the way to emerge from the prevailing atmosphere of despair. According to Amit Shah, this manifesto includes special schemes for farmers, the youth, and women.

Voting in Bengal on April 23 and 29; Single-Phase Polling in Tamil Nadu on April 23

Voting in West Bengal will take place in two phases, on April 23 and April 29, while votes for all seats in Tamil Nadu will be cast on April 23. Additionally, Shah will address a public rally in West Medinipur and hold a roadshow in Kharagpur. As part of the assembly elections across five states, voting concluded on Thursday in Assam, Kerala, and the Union Territory of Puducherry.
