The letter claims that the Khalistan Liberation Army (KLA) carried out the grenade attack on a police station in the Ajnala area of Amritsar on March 30th and has accepted responsibility for it.

However, no official confirmation has yet emerged regarding the veracity of this claim. Police have launched a cautious investigation into the matter and are thoroughly scrutinizing information circulating on social media.

What Happened on March 30

On March 30th, an explosion outside the Bhindi Saidan police station in the Rajasansi constituency of Amritsar district created panic in the area. Sources suspect that two unidentified motorcycle riders detonated the explosives outside the station. Upon hearing the explosion, people in the vicinity of the station were alarmed. Following the incident, the station gate was locked from inside and security was increased. Multiple police teams arrived at the scene.

DSP Gurinderpal Singh Nagra told the media that he received a senior report this morning, stating that a sound similar to a minor explosion was heard around 2 a.m. He said that upon receiving the report, all police teams were immediately dispatched to the scene and an investigation was launched.

According to the DSP, there was no loss of life or property. There was no confirmed damage or glass damage inside the police station. CCTV footage from the police station is being examined.
