Amritsar CP busts fake arms license racket, 8 persons apprehended

Amritsar: In a major development and a firm step against crime, Amritsar Commissionerate Police busted a racket making fake arms license. In this police have arrested eight persons of the racket. The initial information has been shared by Punjab DGP Guarav Yadav on his X handle.

In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police arrested 8 persons running a fake arms license racket.

Along with the apprehension of 8 accused of the racket, Police recovered Six fake arm licenses and Aadhar cards. Police also recovered seven pistols, revolvers, double-barreled rifle and a laptop with details of forged documents.

The DGP added that Punjan police is committed to eradicate organised crime from the state.
