The Lopoke Police Station in Amritsar has achieved significant success in two separate cases. The police seized 2 kilograms and 290 grams of heroin and two modern Glock pistols. The joint action of the police and security agencies has sent a strong message against smugglers.

In the first case, Lopoke Police Station conducted a joint operation in collaboration with the Border Security Force (BSF). During this operation, about 2 kilograms and 290 grams of heroin were seized. Drones were being used in this smuggling, which the police have confiscated.

Initial investigations indicate that this consignment was sent from across the Pakistan border and was dropped into Indian territory via drone.

    2 Glock pistols seized

In another case, the police took action and recovered two modern Glock pistols. According to the police, these weapons are considered quite advanced and dangerous and are usually used in organized crime or criminal activities.

The police are now working to find out which people are connected to the network of these weapons and where they were intended to be used. Police officials say that further investigation is ongoing in both cases, and major revelations are likely soon.
