Blast at a House in Amritsar; 2 women sustained burns; Investigation underway

On Thursday afternoon, a sudden blast occurred inside a house in Amritsar, subsequently engulfing the residence in flames. The explosion was so powerful that it caused cracks in the roof of the house and shattered the exterior windows.

The sound of the blast triggered panic and chaos throughout the locality. Two women sustained severe burn injuries in the fire and were immediately rushed to the hospital. The condition of both women remains critical.
