Amritsar Police Arrest KLF Members in NRI Malkit Singh Murder Case

Amritsar: The Amritsar Rural Police have arrested two accused — Bikramjit Singh alias Bikram and Karan — in connection with the brutal murder of Italy-based NRI Malkit Singh at Raja Sansi, Amritsar.

KLF Link and Criminal Background

Bikramjit Singh is a known operative of the terrorist organisation Khalistan Liberation Force (KLF). He has been previously booked under the Explosives Act, Attempt to Murder, and Arms Act, and was also involved in the 2018 grenade attack on a religious place in Raja Sansi.

Foreign Handlers and Cross-Border Weapons Procurement

Preliminary investigation indicates that Bikramjit acted under the directions of foreign handlers, procuring illegal weapons from across the border to execute high-profile crimes in Punjab.

Weapons Recovered

The police seized a large cache of arms and ammunition, including:

• One PX5 foreign-made .30 caliber pistol

• One .30 caliber pistol

• One .45 caliber foreign-made pistol

• One .32 caliber pistol

• One revolver

• Live cartridges

Authorities are now focusing on uncovering the full nexus, including both backward and forward linkages of the terror network.
