Amritsar Police Bust International Drug Gang, Arrest 3, Seize 4.5 Kg Heroin & Pistol

Amritsar: Amritsar Commissionerate Police busted an international drug smuggling gang in a swift action. Three drug smugglers were arrested and 4.5 kg heroin and a pistol were recovered.

Smugglers in touch with foreign handlers

Initial investigation has revealed that the arrested smugglers were in touch with a foreign handler through social media. On the instructions of the handler, the accused were transporting consignments of heroin and illegal weapons to different places.

FIR registered, further investigation underway

An FIR has been registered in this case at PS Gate Hakima, Amritsar under the NDPS Act and Arms Act. Police said that further investigation is underway.
