Amritsar: The Punjab Police’s State Special Operations Cell (SSOC) Amritsar arrested a terrorist named Manipreet Singh (@Tiddi). A .30 bore pistol and live cartridges were recovered from the accused.
Weapons and IEDs recovered in the operation
Based on the accused’s disclosure, two improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were recovered from the area of village Kotla Tarkhana. Each IED weighed approximately 2.5 kilograms and was equipped with high-quality RDX and a timer.

Allegations of involvement in an international terrorist network
Preliminary investigation revealed that the accused was acting on the instructions of his handlers based in Armenia, the UK, and Germany. These handlers were receiving instructions from a mastermind of a banned terrorist organization based in Pakistan.
FIR registered at SSOC Amritsar
An FIR has been registered at the SSOC Police Station, Amritsar. Further investigation is underway to trace all links within the network and completely dismantle it.
