    Amroha: Ammonia gas leak at pea plant stirs panic; six women workers fall ill

    Ammonia gas leaked from a frozen pea plant located in Chuchaila Kalan village on the Chandpur Road on Sunday afternoon. The gas leak caused a stampede among the workers inside the plant. All the workers rushed out. However, the condition of six women deteriorated. Management had the women workers treated at a private hospital in Chuchaila Kalan.

    No injuries were reported in the incident. Upright Innovative Solutions Private Limited owns a frozen pea plant on the Chandpur Road. Peas are frozen in this plant. Ammonia gas leaked from the plant on Sunday afternoon. As soon as the gas leak occurred, the workers inside began experiencing breathing difficulties.

    Upon receiving information about the gas leak, the workers rushed out. However, the women workers suffered severe pain. They fell unconscious due to the gas. Management members took the women to a private hospital in the village, where they were treated.

    After receiving first aid, the female employees’ condition improved, and management took them to an undisclosed location. Police also arrived at the scene after receiving information about a gas leak at the plant. Inspector-in-Charge Amarpal Singh stated that a gas leak was reported at the plant. Two female employees’ conditions deteriorated. After receiving first aid, they were sent home after recovering.

    Public Panic After Gas Leak

    The gas leak at the Pea Frozen Plant has raised questions about safety measures. Fortunately, no one became seriously ill. However, the surrounding area appeared terrified. Management made efforts to treat the victims after the gas leak on Sunday afternoon, but the situation remained terrifying. Villagers reported that the factory is located on Chandpur Road.

    There was chaos for some time after the gas leak. Management attempted to conceal the incident, but staff at a private hospital revealed it. A villager from Chuchaila Kalan said that about six months ago, a young man from the village, Irfan, was injured while working at the plant. He later died.
