Armed Youths Spotted Roaming Jalandhar Colony, CCTV Footage Sparks Security Concerns

Jalandhar, Punjab Panic spread among residents of Raja Garden Colony after four young men riding two scooters were caught on CCTV allegedly carrying a revolver and moving suspiciously through a residential lane late at night.

The incident reportedly took place shortly after midnight and was captured by surveillance cameras installed in the area. Residents have since submitted the footage to police and lodged a complaint at the local police outpost.

CCTV Shows Youths Surveying the Area

According to the footage, four unidentified individuals arrived in the lane on two scooters. After entering the street, they stopped briefly and appeared to observe their surroundings.

A few moments later, one of the youths got off the scooter and was seen taking out what appeared to be a revolver. His actions raised alarm among local residents, who suspect the group may have been scouting or targeting someone in the neighborhood.

Suspect Rings Doorbell Before Leaving

The footage further shows the youth approaching a house after taking out the weapon. He then rang the doorbell and quickly returned to his companions.

When no one came outside, the group left the area on their scooters and fled the scene. The unusual sequence of events has heightened security concerns among residents of the colony.

Residents Express Fear Over Safety

Following the circulation of the CCTV footage, local residents voiced concerns about safety and security in the neighborhood. Many questioned the intentions of the armed youths and urged police to take swift action.

Residents fear the group may have been attempting to intimidate someone or identify a potential target before leaving the area.

Officials at the Raja Garden police outpost said they have received the CCTV footage and begun efforts to identify the individuals involved.
