Srinagar: The encounter is going on for the second consecutive day on Sunday (July 6) in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir. So far, 6 terrorists have been killed in Mudargham and Chinnigam Frisal. Two soldiers have been martyred. There is a possibility of one or two terrorists hiding in Mudargham and one more terrorist in Chinnigam Frisal.
Operation is going on at both the places. Two terrorists have been killed in Mudargham this morning. A terrorist was killed here on Saturday (July 6). One soldier was martyred. Four terrorists were killed in Chinnigam Frisal of Kulgam yesterday. One soldier was martyred.
On the other hand, terrorists attacked an army camp in Manjakot area of Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning. One soldier was injured in this. After the retaliatory action of the soldiers, the terrorists fled through the dense forest. The army and police have started a search operation.
The encounter is still going on in this area as well, officials said.
