Barnala: Decayed body of unidentified youth found in Civil Hospital

There was a commotion in the Civil Hospital Barnala when the decomposed body of an unidentified youth was found on the third floor of the maternity ward. The strong stench that had been emanating from the hospital for several days had shocked everyone, after which the staff went upstairs and investigated and this horrifying revelation was made.

As soon as the information about the incident was received, a police team from the City Police Station reached the spot and inspected the scene. The police took the body into their possession and sent it to the morgue for postmortem.

In the initial investigation, it is being estimated that the death must have occurred several days ago, as the body was in a completely deteriorated condition.

The police are now investigating the case in detail. The CCTV cameras of the hospital are being examined to find out how the youth reached the third floor of the hospital and under what circumstances he died.

The incident has also raised questions about the hospital management. Locals say that the stench was coming for several days but the management did not take any action on time. Police Station City One SHO Lakhwinder Singh said that every aspect of the matter is being investigated and the real cause of death will come out only after the postmortem report comes.
