Batala Police bust extortion racket, recover 4 pistols used in crime

Chandigarh: In a major breakthrough, Batala Police has busted an extortion racket that was operated by Harry Chattha. The police have arrested a key associate after a brief encounter. During the encounter, police fired back in self defence in which accused was shot in leg. Police also recovered 4 pistols that were used in the crime. Apart from the main accused, police also arrested 6 more people who provided logical assistance and other support. The Information was shared by Punjab DGP Gaurav Yadav on his X handle.
