Bathinda Counter Intelligence nabs three SFJ operatives linked to terrorist Pannun

In a major success, Counter Intelligence Bathinda has arrested three activists of the banned organisation Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) in a joint operation with Bathinda Police.

The arrests were made for writing pro-Khalistan slogans on the walls of schools in villages Bhisiana and Manawala, which was done under a conspiracy in support of US-based SFJ leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannun.

Slogans were written to incite public unrest

According to the initial investigation, the accused had written inflammatory and anti-national slogans, intending to incite public unrest and spread separatist propaganda.

Evidence found during the investigation shows that the arrested persons were receiving foreign funding to carry out these illegal activities.

Punjab Police takes swift action

Police teams took swift action, preventing the situation from escalating and ensuring that no anti-national activity goes unchecked.

The officers said that the investigation is being conducted in a professional and scientific manner to collect all necessary evidence and bring the culprits to justice.

The officers stressed that any attempt to disrupt communal harmony or promote anti-national agendas will be dealt with strictly and as per the law.
