Bathinda Schools get Bomb Threat by Khalistan National Army, students evacuated

An atmosphere of panic prevailed in Bathinda when four private schools in the city were threatened with bombings by the ‘Khalistan National Army’ through an email, which also mentioned the June 1984 military attack on Sri Darbar Sahib.

As soon as the incident was reported, the police administration swung into action, and all the schools were evacuated, and the children were safely evacuated.

The police teams, who received the information, are conducting a thorough search of the school buildings, basements, and parked vehicles with the help of dog squads and metal detectors.

It is worth mentioning that in Punjab and especially in Bathinda, railway tracks, stations, and schools have received such threats in the past, due to which the security agencies are on full high alert and are seriously investigating this latest case so that the mischievous elements can be identified.
