A horrifying incident has come to light from Bengaluru where a man allegedly slit the throats of his mother, sister, and young nephew before attempting to take his own life. The tragic case, reportedly linked to mounting financial debt, has left two family members dead and two others critically injured.

According to police, four members of the same family were involved in what appears to be a suicide attempt driven by financial distress. The accused, identified as Mohan Gowda, allegedly attacked his family members before trying to kill himself.

His mother Asha (55) and sister Varshitha (34) died on the spot, while Gowda and his 11-year-old nephew sustained serious injuries and are currently undergoing treatment.

Authorities described the condition of the injured as critical.

Video recorded before incident

In a disturbing detail, the family had reportedly recorded a video before the incident, explaining their financial difficulties and the circumstances that led them to take such an extreme step.

The video was sent to relatives, who rushed to the house after receiving it. Finding the house locked from inside, they entered through a back door and discovered the victims lying unconscious, after which police were informed.
