Bhumi Pednekar Reveals Why She Loves Doing Her Own Makeup: ‘It’s Therapeutic to Me’

Mumbai: Actress Bhumi Pednekar has shared why doing her own makeup is more than just a beauty routine, calling the process “therapeutic” and one of her favourite forms of self-care.

The actress took to Instagram to post a fun “Get Ready With Me” (GRWM) video, where she was seen creating her own glamorous look before attending an award ceremony for her web series Daldal.

Sharing the video, Bhumi wrote, “Let’s get ready! Also I speak kitna rubbish while doing my makeup. If you know me, you know I love makeup and I love doing it myself more. It’s therapeutic to me and the best time I spend with myself. So let’s go.”

Bhumi Gives Fans a Peek Into Her Makeup Routine

In the video, Bhumi revealed that she was getting ready for her first award related to Daldal. She began by thoroughly moisturizing her skin before applying a primer, explaining that she likes to prep her face well before makeup.

She opted for a soft gold smokey-eye look, experimenting with multiple golden shades while joking that she was “going on an adventure” with her eye makeup. She also playfully struggled while applying false eyelashes, saying she might skip them if they didn’t cooperate, before finally getting them in place.

Bhumi completed her look using concealer, contour, blush and highlighter, revealing that she prefers using the same palette for multiple steps. She finished with a lip colour and humorously described the session as a “very messy get ready with me,” despite achieving a polished final look.
